10HP DIY Eurorack Benjolin

As a way to learn more about Diptrace, I did a PCB layout and panel for Rob Hordijk's Benjolin.

As Rob wishes for the Benjolin to be a hobby project, I only produced 2 of these.

This version differs from kweiwen's version of the Benjolin in a few ways.

• It's way smaller. Kweiwen's (and the commercial Epoch Modular version) are 18HP.
• It uses SMD components instead of through hole. These are 0805 components with no tiny chips, so relatively easy to solder.
• It has solder bridges on the back that allow you to have the oscillators modulate each other via the MOD A and MOD B knobs when no CV input is connected. FREQ B can also modulate MOD FILTER.
• The gain of the MAIN OUTPUT (that goes through the filter) has been dramatically increased with an additional opamp stage.
• It (will) have diodes that help the module work with all power supplies, protect the V2164 from damage and protect against reverse power.
